Although a corrupt Reports.DIC file or a dropped database connection can often result in the same error message, when you are getting numerous messages that read, "An operation on table 'table name' failed because the path does not exist," this error can sometimes be caused by forgetting to turn of Dexterity SQL logging. If the file grows to more than 2 GB in size, you'll start seeing that error every time GP attempts to load up a local temporary table.

To disable logging, navigate to the GP install directory and open the Data subfolder. Open the Dex.ini file and verify that the following flags are set to false, like this:

SQLLogSQLStmt=FALSE
SQLLogODBCMessages=FALSE
SQLLogAllODBCMessages=FALSE

Save the file and restart Dynamics GP.
